120509 & 120609 SHINE A LIGHT!
BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE!
Oh, you couldn't imagine. It's like a dream come true! I felt like a little girl who became a princess for a night, to finally be able to see G-Dragon in person.
Here is my personal story of both days.
120509:
I went way early! A couple of hours early and stood out in the FREEZING cold waiting to go in to see the person I've been longing to see for YEARS. Since the end of 2006, so about three whole years to finally see him. As I was walking towards the Olympic Stadium [Gymnastics], I think I saw Seungho walking next to me. Omg, that's really cool now that I think about it. He looked like Seungho, not 100% sure. The security guards were super mean, yelling at everyone! They checked bags because cameras aren't allowed, but after seeing how they check your bags, I've come to see why there are fancams OF the concert. *Ahem, I snuck one in myself. I was shivering, even after I've entered the Olympic Stadium and found my seat. I recently read that it was about 10 degrees fahrenheit that day, but it was ALL worth the freeze. I was sitting in the front row of the first floor. They were playing Taeyang & 2ne1's music videos before the concert started. Two dancers walked right in front of me while I was sitting there, then a few minutes later Shaun Evaristo & another dancer walked in front of me. OH EXCITING! Then, BAM! IT FINALLY STARTED! I must admit, when it started, I was startled but OH MY GOD! All the fangirls started screaming. HWAITING, VIPS! Heck, even I was screaming!! He came out, looking OH SO GOOD. Out of an apple, he comes. I loved the concert stage. He then performs all the songs, I cannot remember what ORDER it was in but my fancams can help me with that! The most memorable performances were Breathe & She's Gone -- the two that's going to be cut from the DVD. It breaks my heart. Let me go on to explain WHAT happened in the two performances. In Breathe, there was a hanging(?) bed with dancer, Aimee Lucas [I LOVE THAT GIRL!]. Oh oh oh, it was good. He added in sex sounds, REMIX! But then, what got him in trouble was .. he got on top of Aimee Lucas. She straddled him, so it LOOKED like they were having "dry-sex" which they weren't. There was NO humping involved and his "spot" wasn't even at her "spot." Things were blown out of proportion. Enough with Breathe, let's go to She's Gone. He had, again, Aimee Lucas tied to a chair on the stage, looking like she's trying to break away. It was good. Loved the acting! Anyways, after singing the song with Kush, he ran to the other side where Aimee have escaped to and they acted once again then both ran backstage which was where the problem started. A video! Oh, he put a lot of thought into this concert to make it perfect, only to be knocked down. The video is of him, holding a knife, going after a girl [not Aimee in the video, but she was wearing the same dress as Aimee did on stage]. The girl was running but GD FINALLY CAUGHT UP to her and he stabbed her, but you couldn't see the stabbing motion. She layed in a pool of blood, his face and hands were all bloody. His white shirt had blood on it. Oh, it was intense and really good. Not scary, just .. REALLY good! There's no other words to describe it. I loved the people he asked to come perform at his concert for him -- Dara for Hello, CL & Teddy for Leaders, Kush for She's Gone, Roora came out also! During one of the songs, he stood at the corner of the stage and WE MADE EYE CONTACT! Oh, memories. I would love to have that eye contact once again. That was a very good night, other than the fact I was stuck in the cold. I had to run and find mom & aunt, but I forgot where that coffee shop was. I was freezing and lost. What a combination. After about 30 minutes to an hour, I FINALLY found it. We got home by 11 or 12, all three of us .. DEAD TIRED.

I left later in the afternoon, at around 4:30 when the concert starts at 6, because I didn't want to stand in the freezing cold again. Who knew I'd get lost on the subway!? Stupid subway! At least I learned from my mistakes? But too bad the mistake was on THIS day. I got there extremely late, because I kept riding the same subway over and over again, yah. So sad. I missed the first half of the concert. Didn't get to see Dara, CL, Teddy, OR Roora on this day. Quite sad. I really liked the first half of the concert too. I came in, at the middle of the video drama thing. I'm still sad over missing half of the 2nd concert, the one that's recorded. I didn't even sit at the right seat, but SE7EN! CAME OUT! :D And I got to see the She's Gone performance, but totally missed the Breathe performance. NEXT TIME, I WILL DO BETTER! AJA AJA HWAITING! During the encore, GUESS WHO CAME OUT? OH MY GOD!!! BIG BANG! I was so happy. The whole stadium BLEW up, everyone was stomping, jumping, clapping, screaming. Oh, it was crazy. Their surprise appearance was the best thing EVER, aside from my eye contact with GD the night before. Seeing Big Bang, the group I've loved for three years, or a little more, finally appeared IN FRONT of my eyes. They performed Lies & Last Farewell. I only recorded Last Farewell. By that time, I didn't care about hiding my camera. I took it out and RECORDED. It was great. They're all super good looking in real life. If you think they're sexy in pictures [which I do], wait till you see them with your own bare eyes. Holyyyy. Paradise. I went to heaven. But then it ended all too quickly. They went back in, but next thing you know .. GD brought GAHO out. He looks so big, even from where I was sitting. They were cute together. Daddy & puppy, wah. But the fact that I saw Se7en, the first korean to bring me into the k-entertainment industry and Big Bang, the people I'm absolutely loving on at the moment AND Gaho&GD definitely made this a good night also. It totally made up for being late and missing out on half the concert!
Those are two days I will always cherish.
My first concert, ever attended: Shine A Light
I will attend more Big Bang concerts in the future. Maybe they'll even come back to the States again.

Nonetheless, I am glad Kwon Jiyong is holding up after all those very harsh criticisms and accusations. He's learning from his mistakes. It goes to show he's human, like every one of us. I love how he has such an optimistic view on practically everything. <3
